There will be a free college application workshop from 4p.m. to 8p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1 in the community room of the John C. Hart Memorial Library.
This workshop will organize and prepare rising senior students as they begin to apply to colleges. Students should bring a laptop and a list of six to 12 schools which they plan to apply to. Recent high school graduates will be running the workshop to provide the students with peer-to-peer assistance, advice and insight from personal experiences.
WORKSHOP GOALS:
- Create Common Application accounts and begin to enter information
- Form a list of supplemental essays needed to be written and start to brainstorm
- Create an organized schedule to adhere to
