Yorktown Student Receives Gold Award for Prescription Drug Awareness

Yorktown-Somers Patch -- Yorktown High School senior Samantha Greene has earned her Girl Scout Gold Award – the highest award in Girl Scouts – for her "Prescription Drug Awareness and Collection" project. The 17-year-old student has been a girl scout for 12 years and had previously earned Bronze and Silver Awards. 20 Yorktown Businesses Pass Underage Drinking Enforcement Detail

Yorktown-Somers Patch -- Twenty Yorktown establishments have passed an underage drinking enforcement detail after not selling alcohol to undercover, underage agents on Wednesday, Nov. 27, Yorktown Police Chief Daniel McMahon said. 14 Yorktown Businesses Pass Underage Drinking Check

Daily Voice -- Out of 14 Yorktown businesses recently subjected to a underage drinking check, not one sold alcohol to an undercover teen, police said. Yorktown Police Charge 11 With Using Fake IDs At Bar
