The ASK Yorktown Youth Court, founded in 2007, is based on the national program developed by the Federal Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. This program offers teens comprehensive training overseen by professionals in the field, including judges, attorneys, members of the District Attorney’s office, police officers, social workers, and other sectors of the legal community. Save the Date! Teen Nights are a collaboration between ASK and local businesses to create safe and substance-free evenings for middle-school teens to socialize.   Activities typically include sports contests, dancing, and games. Events are chaperoned by parent volunteers and monitored by the police department as part of their patrol route.
