Alliance for Safe Kids Host Responsible Business Training

The Alliance for Safe Kids held a training session for alcohol vendors last week as part of its continuous effort to keep residents and businesses informed.

ASK, in collaboration with the Yorktown Police Department, Yorktown Justice Court and Hudson Valley Hospital, opened the training to all businesses that sell alcohol to provide awareness and education. The goal of the program, according to ASK, is to promote responsible alcohol sales and to prevent sales to underage people and to prevent drunk driving.

Nine establishments, including DeCicco’s, Gomer Street Deli, Mobil station, Suburban Wines & Spirits, Shell gas station and Yorktown Beer and Soda participated in the training.
