June 8, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Depression in children and teenagers is often undiagnosed and untreated because symptoms are mistaken for normal emotional changes. But with early identification & intervention, we can decrease the risk of suicide in depressed youth. Discuss the biological, environmental, and psychological factors that contribute to youth depression and suicide, as well as the signs and symptoms with a licensed therapist. Learn the risk factors, preventative measures, and how to respond after a suicide attempt.
