Yorktown teens, through the local non-profit Alliance for Safe Kids, have submitted an original video to the “Above the Influence” ad contest, which was accepted along with 53 others from across the nation.
They’re getting close to the top spot in winning the competition but they need your help in order to surpass the front runner by the time the polls close on Aug. 9.
The ad that receives the most votes will become the next “Above the Influence” public service announcement and it will be presented in Washington D.C. prior to airing on national television.

Support Yorktown youth and the Alliance for Safe Kids’ video, which is entitled “It’s Your Choice.”
Alliance for Safe Kids (ASK) of Yorktown, a non-profit organization founded in 2000 by members of the Yorktown community, encourages awareness and the prevention of substance use and abuse, along with alternative destructive behaviors harmful to young people.
