The Alliance for Safe Kids is thrilled to collaborate with The Youth Mental Health Project and bring their valuable resources to our community:
We ALL have mental health, just like physical health.
Important at every stage of life, mental health affects the way a person thinks, feels, relates to others, and behaves. By inspiring open conversations about mental health, The Youth Mental Health Project creates opportunities for communities to promote education, awareness and understanding of how to care for and support the whole child.
- The Parent Support Network™ – Yorktown will empower and equip parents to better understand their children’s mental health needs, recognize warning signs when their children are struggling, and better understand and find resources. Check out our calendar for upcoming dates.
- Randi Silverman, Founder and Executive Director of The Youth Mental Health Project, will be presenting a workshop, “Understanding & Supporting Youth Mental Health” at Save A Life on March 3, 2019
- “No Letting Go” screening and community conversation with Randi Silverman, Founder and Executive Director of The Youth Mental Health Project, held on April 29, 2019. Sponsored by The Rotary Club of Yorktown and the Town of Yorktown.
