The Alliance for Safe Kids supports peace, social justice, and equality in our community and condemns racism in all forms. We are committed to reflecting on our practices as an organization and widening the lens through which we serve our community.
As we continue to work together with all of the sectors to strengthen the safety net that supports our youth and families, we are introducing the “Yorktown Together! Resource Guide for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.” The guide will provide tools and resources that encourage mindful listening; facilitation of conversations for change; and opportunities for thoughtful service that promote racial awareness.
